The Oh So Trendy: Floral Prints♥

Almost everyone this summer are rocking Floral Prints, and I'm not gonna lie, So am I! This trend is the perfect summer getup for anything, a walk in the park, a picnic, even for going out on dates. You can sport this look anywhere, anytime, any day! It's a fun, fresh look, any one can pull off, as long as you style it properly, and have the right accessories!

Here are a few tips and pointers about sporting floral prints for this summer:

• Don't look tacky: There are different types of floral prints, and wearing more than one together can look tacky, a few are, vintage, feminine, and classic floral prints! So stick to at least 1 or 2 prints in an outfit! 
• Accessorize Well: You want to accessorize but you don't want to go overboard! You can always stick to neutral colored accessories, they always mix well with whatever outfit you're wearing that day! Another option is to make a fashion statement and use a pop of color, or statement jewelry pieces! They always spice up a look!

There are many ways you can wear floral prints, you can turn it into an edgy ensemble and pair it with a leather jacket, or even combat boots, or make it even more girly pairing it with pumps! Just have fun with it, cause nothing makes an outfit look better than your own confidence!

Fashiolista Blogger Contest!

Color Blocking ♥

My favorite summer trend as of right now, is Color Blocking. It just has that summer feel! For those of you who don't know, what color blocking is, it's the combination of two or more color blocks used in an outfit. Whether that be, on a dress, blouse, skirt, or shoe, you can pretty much color block with anything! The colors can be monotone, bright, contrasting or complimentary colors! Even though it's a fun trend to wear, since there are uses of bright colors, it's something you can go wrong with easily. So the best way to pair color block trends whether it's shoes, or accessories are the basic colors, black, white, brown, and gray. That way you outfit will looks more polished and will pop more.

Here are some tips i you're gonna try color blocking:

• Don't be shy to experiment with different colors! Any color combination is great if you pull it off properly.
• First choose what you want to color block, then or the rest o your outfit, keep it simple, don't overdo it!
• DO NOT combine more than three to four colors, that'll just make things look tacky!
• Never combine two color blocked items together, that's just way too much color in one ensemble!
• Keep it simple, don't go overboard with the color blocking or you'll end up looking like a kaleidoscope!

First Post/ Introduction! Hi all! (:

Hey everyone! This will be my first post, and just a little introduction! I'm Cathy, and I've been in love with fashion ever since 4th grade, and now I'm in 10th so a good 6 years? (: Back then I even use to draw my own designs, but sadly I threw them all away, few years after that. So this blog will, be mostly about, fashion trends, maybe even some of my outfits of the days! But I do not own a camera so I will be taking it with my webcam, sucky I know. But its something I'd like to start doing! I hope to get somewhere with fashion in the future! Well that's it for now!
